in Newcastle
Research shows that when you set goals and update a coach you are 95% more likely to stay motivated and grow your business.
With more than 20 years’ experience of running my own businesses, I combine my business and coaching skills to offer 1-1 business confidence coaching to provide powerful mindset tips and inspiration to start-ups, small businesses owners and those who work in larger organisations.
Running a business or being a manager can be lonely, so having someone to talk to discuss ideas with, reduce any limiting beliefs and help you to move out of your comfort zone can make all the difference.
In business coaching sessions we can cover:
- Business plan review or creation of business plan
- Working through any confidence issues (impostor syndrome) and limiting beliefs that might be holding you back
- Mindset tips to think like an entrepreneur to move you out of your comfort zone
- Taking a Strengthscope report to maximise yours and your team’s strengths
- Discussing ideas and new opportunities to market your business
- Signposting to services or grants available to you
- Setting goals for your business
- Update meetings to review your goals (every 1-2 months)

About Business Coach in Newcastle
Hello, I’m Sam Hook, a Life Coach, Business Coach and Counsellor in Newcastle and I help clients to feel more confident at work, in their business or in any aspect of their life.
As well as 1-1 coaching sessions in person and on Zoom, I run a number of coaching programmes and workshops aimed at increasing your confidence, reducing your negative beliefs, getting your mojo back, giving your clarity about your direction and helping you to feel excited about the future.
Prior to coaching, I ran a successful PR company for 18 years, and combine my business experience and coaching know-how to offer business coaching to help small business owners keep focused, motivated and working on goals to facilitate their growth. I am also an Expert in Residence for the North East BIPC offering support to business owners.
My mission is to see everyone have access to a coach and I volunteer for charities including Smart Works Newcastle, which helps women across the North East to find employment with the support of coaching and interview clothes, the Girls Network mentoring girls in the North East, and I’m a volunteer counsellor for various charities in the North East.
If you’re looking to feel happier, more confident and to achieve amazing results in your personal and professional life, you are in the right place.

Working with Sam really helped give me clarity and accountability to help improve and grow my business. I always left the sessions with a drive to take my business to the next level. Dobson House is located opposite the swimming pool in Gosforth. If you are travelling by public transport, we are a few minutes’ walk from Regent Centre Metro Station (turn right out of Metro station and turn first right past Regent Centre towards the swimming pool).
If you are driving, there is visitor car parking outside Dobson House. On Regent Farm Road as you pass the swimming pool on your left you will approach a roundabout, turn right and go down a small hill (you will see a sign for Omnia in front of you), turn right here and keep following the road around until you get to the front of Dobson House which is next to Arden’s Cafe. You will need to download the Pay by Phone app and pay this way. (NB the first hour is free).
