When you own your own business and work alone, confidence is at the core of success. It’s natural for confidence to ebb and flow, but when an entrepreneur gets stuck in a loop of negative thinking and inaction, they become their own greatest block to success.
To support this, I offer a Confident Solopreneur programme and workshop that aims to boost self-confidence and grow and entrepreneur’s business.
Small business owners, especially women, are also more likely to suffer from Impostor Syndrome with 85% of people experiencing these feelings at any one point in their business.
Having an entrepreneurial mindset is also really important to succeed so my coaching involves identifying any limiting beliefs, increasing your confidence and overcome any barriers to success.
In 5 sessions we look at
- Identifying impostor syndrome and how to overcome it
- Reducing limiting beliefs that hold you back
- Redescovering your strengths, qualities, values and achievements
- Looking at areas where you lack confidence and mindset tips to overcome it
- Tips on how to develop your growth mindset and get out of your comfort zone
- Gaining clarity in your business and what your goals are.
- Reviewing goals every 2-3 months to improve your focus and facilitate growth
I know from having my own PR business for 18 years how lonely it can feel when you’re self-employed and how important it is to meet up with a coach every few months to take a step back, look at the business and progress goals – when you update a coach you are 95% more likely to achieve your goals.
Sessions cost £75 per session + VAT and we meet either in my coaching room in the centre of Newcastle or via Zoom.

“I would absolutely recommend Sam for anyone who is looking to make positive changes in their life. Sam helped me to identify what I wanted to achieve in both my personal and business life (and what was holding me back). A year down the line I have achieved more than I could have imagined and I am still working on more goals for the future! Sam also has a wonderful friendly professional attitude that made me feel relaxed right from our first meeting”.Emma Hand, Skin Vitality Newcastle
