Supporting entrepreneurial talent is a big passion of mine, so I am delighted to have been awarded the contract to provide business coaching services in the Incubator at Northumbria University in Newcastle.

The Incubator is a purpose-built facility that provides a high-quality co-working space and support for budding student and graduate entrepreneurs.

Students can access financial, legal, marketing and strategic support, and my role will include coaching students to increase their confidence, motivation, and resilience, developing their business plans and providing accountability meetings to help them succeed.

The Incubator, located next to the Business Clinic on New Bridge Street, supports the university’s mission to encourage enterprise and innovation and to help students with the focus, talent and calibre to turn their ideas into a commercial success. So much so that Northumbria has consistently been in the top 10 UK universities for graduate start-up activity – how fantastic is that!

Graham Baty, Head of Enterprise Development, Graduate Futures, Student, Library and Academic Services at Northumbria University said: “We are delighted to secure the services of Uniquethinking to extend the range of support and advice we offer to our entrepreneurial students and graduates – this was a gap in our provision of support which we were keen to fill following recent feedback from graduate businesses”.

I look forward to working with the students, graduates and the team at the Incubator.
