Supporting entrepreneurial talent has always been a huge passion of mine, so I am absolutely delighted to have been awarded the contract to provide business coaching services for start up businesses within the Incubator at Northumbria University in Newcastle.

A space designed for success
The Northumbria University Incubator is a purpose built, high quality co working space created specifically for student and graduate entrepreneurs who are ready to take their ideas to the next level. It’s an inspiring environment – buzzing with creativity, full of like minded people, and equipped with everything a fledgling business needs to grow.
As part of their journey, students can access a wide range of support including financial guidance, legal advice, marketing expertise, and strategic business input. This holistic approach means that every entrepreneur has the tools they need to both start and sustain a successful business.
My primary role will be to provide business coaching for start up businesses, helping students grow their confidence, boost their motivation, strengthen their resilience, and turn their ideas into clear, viable plans. Start up life can be overwhelming, and students often need support not just with what to do, but with managing the mindset that helps them take consistent action.
Coaching students to build confidence, clarity and momentum
Confidence and clarity are at the heart of successful entrepreneurship. Many students arrive with brilliant ideas but are unsure about the practical steps needed to move forward. Others doubt themselves, a completely normal part of starting something new.
Through one to one coaching sessions, workshops, and accountability meetings, I’ll be helping students:

In fact, Northumbria consistently ranks in the top 10 UK universities for graduate start up activity, highlighting the quality, calibre, and ambition of the students and graduates who choose to study here. That is something truly worth celebrating.
By strengthening the university’s support system even further, the Incubator is helping ensure that even more students have the opportunity to turn their business dreams into commercial success.
