Working together

 Thank you for booking a coaching session.

Below outlines how I propose working together.

1) Description of Coaching: As a qualified Coach and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, my approach blends these two disciplines, a term also known as Psychotherapeutic Coaching.

The partnership between us will be a thought-provoking and creative process that is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional, or business goals.

Topics covered in coaching sessions may typically include:
– Current challenges being faced at home or work
– Identifying what’s unique about you – your strengths, core values and purpose
– Analysing your limiting beliefs and how they hold you back
– Providing mindset tips to increase confidence and reduce anxieties
– Career coaching
– Assistance with decisions with regards to life and work
– Help with moving out of your comfort zone to move your life or business forward
– Agreeing and reviewing goals with accountability sessions

2) Location of coaching sessions: Coaching sessions can be held at Uniquethinking, Dobson House, Regent Farm Road, Newcastle, NE3 3PF or on Zoom.
In between scheduled meetings, I will be available to contact by email and will respond within 48 hours as long as this does not exceed 1 contact.

3) Confidentiality: This coaching relationship, as well as all information (documented or verbal) that you share with me as part of this relationship, is bound by the principles of confidentiality set forth in the ICF and NCPS Code of Ethics. I agree not to disclose any information pertaining to you without your written consent unless it is considered that you are in danger of being harmed or harming others or yourself.  If we see each other out in public I will not speak to you unless you speak to me and I will not divulge the coaching relationship to others.

4) Record Retention Policy:  I will store your information on a secure Cloud and/or in a locked safe for any printed details. I will keep your records for 2 years after coaching ends unless otherwise agreed.

5) Fees: Fees will be paid in advance of each meeting via  www.uniquethinking.co.uk/shop or through the booking link provided. All fees include VAT and can be claimed as a business expense if required.

6) Cancellation Policy: Please can you notify me 24 hours in advance of scheduled meetings if a meeting is to be cancelled and I will do the same. I  reserve the right to retain the fee paid if you do not show up for an agreed meeting without prior notice.

7) Termination: Please can you raise with me anything that they are unhappy about in the coaching relationship within 24 hours of seeing me by phone or by email and I will address these concerns by adapting my coaching sessions in the future. Either of us may terminate an appointment within 24 hours’ notice. Refunds can be given for all coaching sessions (for the 4-week programmes purchased, these will be pro rata of session discounts).

8) Promotional purposes:  I will add you to my email list to receive emails from me from time to time unless requested otherwise. Information will not be passed to any third party.  You may be asked to give an anonymous testimonial about the coaching service you received for use on social media or website but permission will be sought first and it’s optional.  

9) Coaching Ethics
A. I agree to maintain the ethics and standards of behaviour established by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
B. You will be responsible for creating and implementing your own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship and your coaching sessions with me.  As such, I am not liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of the coaching provided.
